Barcelona reportedly offered Hansi Flick some advice on Jose Mourinho after the so-called ‘Special One’ was confirmed as Real Madrid manager over the summer.
Mourinho is back at the Santiago Bernabeu for another spell and will renew his rivalry with Barcelona in the 2026-27 season.
A new report from Diario Sport states how Barcelona were quick to advise Flick to be careful when it comes to Mourinho. “Not a word about Mourinho or Real Madrid,” is the message from the Barcelona chiefs.

Of course Flick didn’t really need telling. The German coach is well aware of Mourinho’s track record and knows how to rise above any potential provocations.
Indeed Flick brushed aside questions about Mourinho at the end of last season when asked how he felt about taking on the Portuguese boss, telling reporters: “Yes, why not? He’s the opposing team’s coach, and I’m always ready to face anyone.”
Flick also knows he will face more questions about Mourinho in the coming weeks or months. As for Mourinho, he’s already gone on the attack, taking aim at La Liga referees after seeing his team beaten by Real Betis on Friday night.
